About the Founder

Veer Goparaju

Veer Goparaju is a grade 11 student at the North Carolina School of Science and Math. He's an avid coder and data enthusiast who identified a dearth of effective instruction in STEM subjects and founded a social project to ensure quality education for students from underserved communities. As a co-president of several STEM clubs, Veer is committed to promoting science education and empowering his peers to explore the field. He's a teaching assistant of data science, founded his school’s Computer Science club, and a Mayor’s Youth Council working in Computer Science enrichment. But that's not all, Veer's interests extend beyond academics: in addition to being a dedicated member of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, he's also the editor-in-chief of his school newspaper, the founder and president of the ping pong club, and an assistant coach and team manager for the school's varsity basketball team.
